Sinopsis

The simulation is a very powerful support for manufacturing design and management. In fact, new techniques and technologies are becoming available that could further extend the impact of modelling and simulation in these applications. The paper proposes the integration of Neural Networks and web-based modelling, with experimental validation related to a real case study: a workshop to perform maintenance on ship weapon systems.
