Sinopsis

In this article, we present a theoretical analysis for laminar flow and heat transfer between two parallel plates with micro space under unsymmetrical wall heat flux in slip flow regime. The momentum and energy equations with the boundary conditions of slip velocity and temperature jump are solved for the hydraulic and thermal fully developed laminar flow of the incompressible fluid in this microchannel. The influences of the Kn number, the tangential momentum accommodation coefficient, and the thermal accommodation coefficient on the temperature profile and the heat transfer characteristics are discussed, respectively.
