Sinopsis
This paper presents a comparison between theoretical and experimental studies in a cutting
plasma torch. Calculations were made with a laminar compressible model with supersonic
flows. By using visible spectroscopy we measured densities and temperatures from time
integrated luminosities, that were corrected from the effect of plasma fluctuations.
