Sinopsis
Complex investigation of cascaded arcs characteristics by methods of similarity theory (ST), and dimension analysis (DA) is done in comparison with the generalized analytical
modeling (GAM). It is shown that methods (ST&DA) provide possibility to determine sets of dominant variables for generalized characteristics, however, experimental data are necessary for this purpose. On the contrary, no experimental data are needed for GAM method, and it is more accurate.
