Elastic plate behavior in a uniform flow is considered. Mach number M = 1 corresponds to a borderline state between divergence and single mode flutter. The plate oscillates with a frequency 24 Hz, which is more than two times lower than the first natural frequency. The plate motion is delayed in states of maximum and minimum deflection. Oscillation mode shape has a form of a traveling wave.
