Résumé

Open grooves are one of the most common capillary structures used for the liquid transport in heat pipes. Considerable efforts have been made to predict the performance of such heat pipes by theoretical analysis. A modelling gap still exists in the prediction of the radial heat transfer coefficient in the evaporator zone.
