Résumé

Virtual enterprises are getting a higher acceptance within enterprises circles as an alternative to act in highly dynamic markets. The aim of this paper is to describe a proposal of an World Wide Web site to support the formation of virtual enterprises. The main characteristics of this site are the use of middleware technologies to allow a full integration between a web servers and the database of competence. The system also supports a customized and dynamic generation of web pages according to the interests of the user. An especial attention has been given to the process of partner searching. The site has been implemented as a prototype system to support the search of technology-oriented competencies. Other potentials of this approach are also described.
