Résumé

Silicon technology development is done with a series of experiments to investigate different processing techniques to meet performance targets. Because of the volume of information generated from these experiments a key contributor to technology development cycle time is information access and sharing. Efficient sharing of experiment results between and within functional teams can increase both the speed and effectiveness of the development cycle.
In this paper we present eBinder, a system for document storage and organization which enables efficient information sharing throughout the development team. eBinder replaces storage and communication mechanisms such as shared network drives, email, and hardcopies. These methods suffer from a number of limitations which eBinder addresses.
