Résumé

Software development for simulation and control of flexible automated systems (FASs) is an important task for its successful implementation. One of the topics in current research in FASs is the development of integrated software systems that can both simulate and control FASs. This paper presents such an integrated tool based on Augmented Timed Petri Nets (ATPNs). In contrast to Programmable Logic Controllers ,(PLC) which are used only to control the system, this tool allows the system designers to evaluate the system performance by simulation and to implement its controller using the same data base which describes the system configuration. A simple example, in which a fluid power system is simulated and controlled, is used to illustrates the concept.
