Résumé

In this paper, by the use of the random vibration theory, the random dynamic responses caused by turbulent flow impulse both in the baffle heat exchanger and NHCS heat exchanger are discussed. The statistic characteristics of responses to displacements − the mean value, variance, auto − correlation function and cross − correlation function, auto power spectral density and cross power spectral density are obtained for the above two kinds of heat exchangers. So it concluded that under the same condition, the NHCS heat exchanger has superior characteristics to the traditional baffle heat exchanger − better antivibration performance, lower shellside pressure drop, lower energy loss, higher heat transfer efficiency and longer service life.
