Is ISO CERTIFICATION, TQM, AND SPC PRACTICAL FOR A SMALL MANUFACTURER

Quality programs like ISO, TQM, QS, SPC, and more, can be expensive, even for a large manufacturing organization. This paper presents a case example of a small (less than $5 million in sales and less than 100 employees) manufacturer who has made excellent strides towards manufacturing excellence through these programs. It will discuss how and why these programs were implemented.
