Résumé
A theoretical study on counterflow triple concentric tube heat exchangers is conducted. In the first part of the study, the governing differential equations are derived under simplified conditions and the possible solutions are obtained. Using these solutions, several case studies are conducted in the second part. Through case studies it is demonstrated that tube radius ratios are the most important parameters that influence the performance/size of the exchanger.
