Résumé
Heat transfer between solids in sliding contact occurs in many mechanical devices and technologies. Theoretical analysis of such heat transfer problems requires suitable formulation of boundary conditions. They include thermal contact conductance and heat generation coefficient, responsible for heat partition between sliding solids. Experimental stand for investigation of heat transfer in sliding contact was described in the paper and some results of measurements for steel plates in reciprocal movement are presented. Tests were carried out for samples with artificial and natural roughness on the contact surface. They allowed for determination of thermal contact conductance and heat generation coefficients as a function of relative velocity of solids and contact pressure.
