Aims and Scope

Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine encompasses multiple healing technologies. The focus of the journal is directed at making available the current knowledge to health care professionals to improve the quality of life and function in patients. Articles on both physiological and clinical issues related to physical and rehabilitation medicine will be considered for publication. The journal invites contributions in the form reviews and current research for a wide range of conditions including but not limited to muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, attention deficit hyperactive disorders, autism and post-surgical rehabilitation. Papers on a wide range of diagnostic, evaluation, therapeutic and rehabilitation methods will be published.
Rehabilitation research using machine learning, artificial intelligence, implants, robotics and brain computer interface are being examined at length by interdisciplinary teams and are gaining ground. Performance of these novel therapeutic modalities will be examined in the journal. The journal will also review recent advances in basic science, device design and instrumentation and measurement methods aimed at enhancing the delivery of physical and rehabilitation medicine.
