The thickness of the film entrained by a fiber quickly drawn out of a bath of wetting liquid and that of residual film in the capillary tube during displacement by another immiscible liquid are investigated. Mathematical model for the film flows accompanied by high velocities of liquid and by finite deformations of interface is worked out.
