要約

The feasibility of a production plan depends greatly on the accuracy of such input information as actual customer orders, available production capability, and production lead times. At shopfloor level of CIM environment, controlling production operations by recording manufacturing and assemply times, within-cell lead times, and between-cell waiting times gives the production planner the information that enables him to build realistic production plans. In information modelling, "Times" is an important factor. This paper describes the temporal factor of an information model based on the analysis of events in a shopfloor automation system. It also gives the analysis of the temporal types in such an information model, and discusses the way to derive the temporal relationship of some typical entities in the information model. The paper goes on to describe the events in the model. Finally, it presents the expression method of temporal relation and gives some examples of temporal relationship in a shopfloor automation system.
