要約

Virtual reality can be viewed as a complete means of simulation in space because it captures all the three dimensions. The focus of the paper is on simulation of factory floor motion in virtual environment. For virtual objects to interact in an intuitive, realistic way we need efficiency in motion representation. We describe how efficiency can be achieved by generalizing a class of frequently encountered motions on factory floor. Our approach assumes object envelope representation of facility elements.
