Authors have an idea for applying the heat driven pump to a heat device, for example, for lifting condensation liquid from the condenser to the evaporator placed higher level in a downward heat pipe. This pump was developed by the authors and has the advantages of avoiding moving parts and of being potentially cheaper because the construction is very simple. Moreover this pump does not need external mechanical energy, or electricity and can be operated with minimum maintenance. In this paper, the operating characteristic and the applications the authors are considering will be shown.
