要約

PTA High Energy® (Plasma transferee! arc High Energy) is a recent development of classical PTA and was found to use the lowest welding energy during the hardfacing. This can be reached by plasma confining in the torch. When using such system the metallurgical properties of the deposit are obtained at a thickness of just a few tenth of millimeters.

The high cooling rates lead to very fine structures, very small HAZ (heat affected zone) and very low dilution rates. Comparative studies with classical PTA are presented in this paper. The economic effect of PHE provides considerable savings in productivity.
