要約

Cement production is one of the oldest industries in Turkey which has developed along with the urban growth. The surroundings of some of the oldest plants became urbanised so that people faced immediate contact with the air pollution problem.
Air quality modelling techniques are in general very helpful in this respect provided the model is used properly with realible input data. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) approved Breeze Air ISCLT3 (Industrial Source Complex) software was applied to ten existing cement production plants. Air quality contribution of all the plants were fount to be below the Air Quality Protection Regulation (AQPR) limits.
