要約

In this study, three different vegetable oils, which have the most amount of consumption in Turkey are investigated as alternative heating oil candidates. The experimental study was done by using frying vegetable oils (olive, soybean and corn) earned after domestic consumption. The reference fuel-oil was supplied by TOPRAS Petroleum Refinery. The heating oil properties of used vegetable oils and reference fuel-oil were performed according to ASTM standard test methods (ASTM D 975-90) and alternative fuel-oil candidates were proposed.
