要約

In the present study, variations of heat transfer characteristics were investigated by changing inlet temperature of fluid arbitrarily in hydrodynamically fully developed turbulent pipe flows for smooth pipe and conical turbulators inserted at pipe inlet experimentally. The time required for the Nusselt number to reach the steady state becomes small when the Reynolds number is large. This time required for the Nusselt number to reach the steady state for conical turbulator inserted at pipe inlet is smaller than that for the smooth pipe.
