要約

Greenhouse heating by geothermal energy is getting more important in Ege Region, but this should be accompanied by the suitable technologies for effective utilization. Present applications use only 1/1000 of the existing potential. In 1996, part of the "Geothermal District Heating Project" which has 5000 residental heating capacity totally was applied in Balcova using geothermal fluid at 130C and 80 It/sec. In this study of district heating, established on a modular basis, utilizing geothermal energy for modern greenhouses, it is expected to demonstrate that geothermal energy can effectively play a leading role in the Balcova Region in the forseeable future.
