要約
To realize a hydrogen power plant in a Tourist Pole is a
strategic and long term goal. In this way, innovative
technologies, concerning hydrogen chain, are immediately
applied, and on the way confronted and improved.
Most of the technologies used in the power plant are
commercial and the "innovative" solutions (Indirectly Heated
Gasifier, Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells) became evermore
sufficiently mature and reliable. A distributed energy
production is realized, with low environmental impact, from
local resources. In Italy the renewable energy resources, except
the large hydropower, are badly exploited till this moment but
considering the energetic potential they will be able to
substitute fossil fuel in the future.
The project represents an original experience in Lazio
region because it conjugates technological innovation and ecoefficiency.
The Plant, designed in collaboration with companies
and research centres, could be a pole of excellence for high
technological vocation enterprises on renewable energy
resources and hydrogen.
The electric power is provided by a 450 kWe ICE (Internal
Combustion Engine) and a 240 kWe MCFC (Molten Carbonate
Fuel Cells) both fed by the biogas produced by a biomass
gasifier. The system occupies a surface of approximately 800
m2 (biomass storage, gasifier, engine room) with a perimeter of
about 200 m. This system has reduced investment cost, high
efficiency and low environmental impact.
