Resumo

Equilibrium distribution coefficients represented in the ray diagram are the basis of cycle chemistry guidelines development. Experimentally obtaining reliable data on distribution coefficients at high pressure and temperature is difficult. The consequence is that only limited data is available for practical application. To overcome this, the current work has attempted to predict the partitioning of different chemical compounds by means of establishing a quantitative relationship between distribution coefficients and dissociation constants (that describe the correlation of molecular and ion forms of matters in aqueous solutions).
