Resumo
A multi-zone (multi-dimensional) is used to model the in-cylinder radiative heat transfer of a direct injection diesel engine. The space and the surface of the (o- combustion chamber are approximated by simple geometric shapes and discretized. Taking into consideration of the complexity of the structure of the combustion chamber and the non-uniform distribution of the radiation medium, the Monte−Carlo method is used to simulate the in-cylinder radiative heat transfer.
