Resumo

The following is a brief review of original investigations on the environmental impact of magistral pipelines for transportation of Caspian oil. The issues of ecological invention of harmful hazardous sources in objects of pipelines are considered. The state of soil, hydroclimatic, radiological, and seismological conditions, and also flora and fauna along the western and northern routes of pipelines are discussed.
