Resumo

The heat transfer characteristics of the Gas Carrying Evaporation has been studied with air−water system in a vertical tube of Ø 22 × 3.5 mm in diameter and 1500 mm in length under vacuum condition. In the experiment, the influences of the liquid velocities, carrying gas flow rates and operating temperatures upon the heat transfer coefficient were measured. The mechanism of heat transfer enhancement was analyzed. On this basis, a correlation of heat transfer coefficient for Gas Carrying evaporation was obtained using the concept of additive contribution to heat transfer and the method of nonlinear regression of the experiment data.
