Resumo
The use of lubricants for HFC has been is being carefully evaluated due to the apparent incompatibility of mineral oils and alkyl benzene lubricants with many of these refrigerants. This paper will focus on the development of polyol ester based lubricants for use with HFC refrigerants, and the impact that the properties of the lubricant in the presence of the refrigerants have on the refrigeration system. The suitability of these types of lubricants with these refrigerants will be well documented.
