Resumo
An innovative process control system is presented, which will increase the effectiveness of the production in the stamping industry. Force and acoustic emission sensors are integrated in a Multi Sensor Plate to combine high process relevant signals with good and robust handling. Because of the modular design, the Multi Sensor Plate can be perfectly adapted to the requirements of different tools and presses. The other half of the Multi Sensor System is the signal processing unit, which allows high adaptation to the requirements from the end-user, because the hardware of the pre-processing unit is modular designed. The unit is based on widespread PC-technology such as a Pentium processor and Windows 95 operating system. This allows a constant process control in the background combined with a user friendly graphical surface in the foreground. Interfaces for networking and long-distance monitoring are already implemented in this system.
