Аннотация

Apparent molar heat capacities and volumes for a number of trivalent and divalent ions have been measured in our laboratory over the range 10 to 65°C. This paper presents a summary of recent results and evaluates the success of the revised Helgeson-Kirkham-Flowers model and a model based on solvent density in predicting the heat capacity and volume functions over a wide temperature range.
