ANALYSIS OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND DISCUSSION ABOUT ENERGY SAVING MEASURES EN BAOSTEEL

This article, taking Baosteel as example, conducted the study and analysis of energy consumption in iron and steel industry and pointed out the corresponding measures for adoption. Baosteel, the largest modernized iron and steel complex in present-day China, is equipped with up-to-date technology and equipment of the mid-80s. From the nine years of its operation since founding in September 1985, Baosteel has proven that its energy consumption is the lowest among its counterparts in country.
