Аннотация

Closure problems In two-phase basic equations are discussed for local instant and averaged formulations. For the local instant formulation, the equation of interfacial movement is necessary to close the formulation. The averaged formulation is obtained by directly averaging the local instant formulation. As the result of averaging, several correlative terms arise that are composed of turbulence terms, interfacial momentum transfer terms and the correlative terms between characteristic function and velocity fluctuations. Since the constitutive equations of first two terms are known, special attention is paid to the last terms. In order to close the averaged formulation, the conservation equations for the last terms are derived, based on the conservation equation of momentum fluctuation.
