Аннотация

Fundamental operation feasibility test on a glass CPL testing model was carried out and some phenomena in the test were observed. The testing model consists of two parallel evaporators and a condenser. The test of temperature control performance and heat load sharing between the two evaporators were conducted. Vapor and liquid flow, vapor-liquid interface and effect of non-condensable gas were observed in one-g field. The test results demonstrated that the CPL testing model operated normally. Based on the phenomenon observation, the non-condensable gas or vapor existed at the evaporator inlets did not significantly affect normal operation of the CPL due to the effect of gravity force. This result does not reflect the actual performance in zero-g field and should be noticed.
