CONTRIBUTION TO INTELLIGENT CAD/CAM SYSTEM

Analyses of information flows in companies show that there are decisive information gaps particularly between the computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing. Therefore the paper deals with the development of intelligent CAD/CAM systems with integrated intelligent interface, which enables the data exchange between several subsystems, included in flexible manufacturing system.
The interface is created specially for small and medium-sized enterprises and is very important part of the flexible manufacturing systems.
