Аннотация

The behaviour of powder particles injected into high temperature near-electrode region of the laminar arc (I=200 A, U=25-30 V, arc length L~10 mm, atmospheric pressure) is investigated. Powder particles were sprayed onto water-cooled moveable steel cylinder which was used as anode. The research was carried out by optical and spectroscopic methods with application of high-speed camera. Size and velocity distribution functions of the particles were determined by devised method of laser diffraction scattering. It is shown by metallographic investigation, that defect free metallurgical coatings with high adhesion and cohesion parameters are formed.
