Аннотация
In this study, the diffusion of hydrocarbons (HCs) which is compressed into the crevice until the exhaust stroke, into the cylinder is simulated by finite-volume technique. In this simulation, relation between the engine speed and HC concentration was found to be in good agreement with the experiments. This is thought to be, basically due to the multi-dimensional framework and the turbulence model used.
