Abstract
The "slight explosion" phenomenon in stoker furnace is advanced, and the gas clogging caused by this phenomenon has been affirmed to be another cause of flame puff from the furnace besides the aerodynamical over-resistance. The double invert V-shaped arch worked out by us not only can eliminate the puff, but also can intensify ignition, eliminate the smoke and reduce the dust emission as well. The results of the numerical computation of the flow field in the furnace with double invert V-shaped arch are presented in this paper.
